On Links vs Advertising

  The nature of Homepreneurs is to provide people with home business ideas and work from home jobs. I’ve never made a dime from this project – all information is free.

  A company with work from home jobs in medical transcription has approached me about running a link to their site or maybe a side banner ad. They would pay a very small fee to me for doing a write-up on them, using my network to find potential employees, etc. The potential company is verbalfusion.com.

  Do I have any options with WordPress.com for this? Or would I need to migrate to .org or self-hosting or ? If so, what are they? I certainly don’t want to violate TOC! This would not truly be an advertising, but a way to link potential employees to an employer.

  That would be a complete TOS violation and your blog can be suspended – you would need to hire a host and migrate off WordPress.COM
