  Do I need to always give a code to login as I ha ve only 9 codes and do not know any other way to login.

  Hi there,

  Two step codes are either sent to you via SMS or generated by an app on your phone, depending on the options you selected when you set up two-step authentication. You should be using those SMS/app codes when you log in.

  The 9 codes you refer to are backup codes, only meant to be used if you cannot get a code via SMS or from the app, e.g. if the network is down or you’ve lost your phone.
