On the veggie theme my images won't work and I can't figure out how to use theme

I’ve been trying to use the veggie theme and Ive already paid for it.. i’ve fooled around with the settings and I want it to look like it did in the preview. I’ve tried suggestions I’ve found online and now my photos that are embedded into my posts won’t show up on the homepage. Please help.
