One month and my comments on a student's blog is still awaiting moderation?

  I am trying to use WordPress as a community of blogs with my students and I have been giving feedback to them via comments on their blogs, but I see now that some of my comments still haven’t been moderated: including one written on the 20th of October.

  I need this to work more efficiently than that.

  Please help?

  I’m not clear on how we can compel any student to approve your comments on his or her blog.

  Oh, okay, so the kids themselves have to approve the comments? I thought the moderation was done by wordpress to prevent spam.

  No, the kids themselves have to moderate the comments on their own blogs. WordPress.com has Akismet to prevent spam, but comments in moderation are not in Spam, they’re under the control of the blogger.

  It’s done by the individual site owner/creator or someone assigned by them.
