  Hi,

  I’m looking to create an online marketplace with WordPress. I would like to be able to create a site where individuals are able to post listings (items for sale) and buy from other sellers.

  I am unsure if WordPress is the right platform for this. If it is, which plan would allow me to do this? I don’t want to commit to a plan if it does not allow me to do what I want.

  To do this you would need various plugins, for example the free WooCommerce plugin along with the Product Vendors premium add-on for that plugin:

  Using plugins on WordPress.com requires our Business Plan, and does not include the cost of any premium plugins which you’d need to buy directly from the sites that sell those.

  Our eCommerce plan comes with WooCommerce pre-installed, but does not include the Product Vendors plugin.
