only full posts on my blog feed

  Hi, I recently noticed that most of the themes I choose, they all only show full posts on the feed, no matter what my config for reading is. Is it possible to be fixed and have just the first sentences of the post as the configuration says? (And not having to change the theme – which is Sela, by the way)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The feed setting in your site’s reading settings is for your blog’s RSS feed — that only changes what your blog’s followers see (for example, in the WordPress.com Reader or in email updates from your blog). That won’t change how much of the post is visible on your blog’s front page.

  If you’d like to limit how much of the post appears on the front page, you can use the More Tag for that. (That tag works with any theme.) You can add the tag below the text you want to show on the front page of your site, and readers can click through to read the full post.
