  Hello guys, please I’m trying to build an ‘open source blog’ which would allow anyone to edit my site(add words and pictures) but just need my permission to allow it to go through

  That’s not something that the basic WordPress.com site/plans are set up to allow. You may be able to find a WordPress plugin that would allow you to do that. Looking into setting up a “wiki” WordPress site seems like a logical place to start. If you found something, you should be able to set it up on our Business site plan:
