Hi, I have installed the jetpack plugin on my new wordpress.org blog and would like to have my wordpress.com subscribers transferred across from http://www.noordinarynomad.wordpress.com to http://www.noordinarynomad.com.
Please let me know if you need more info.
Thanks,

Hi Erin, I can help you with that subscribers transfer.
Before I do the transfer, I want to mention that your email followers will continue to receive email updates, and your WordPress.com followers will continue to see your new posts in the Reader. If your WordPress.com followers would like to receive email updates, as well, they can subscribe via email on your new blog.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that! If you’re ready for me to do the transfer now, just let me know and I’ll take care of it for you.

Hi Rachel,
So are you saying that everyone subscribed via WordPress.com will already still get my new posts from the WordPress.org blog in the Reader? Or is that after we do the transfer?
Thanks!

Hi Erin,
That’s after we do the transfer — the main change is that your WordPress.com subscribers will only see your posts in the Reader, and they’ll need to subscribe again via email on the new WordPress.org blog if they want to get email updates, too. Some people like to post a notice on their WordPress.com blog (to make sure everyone gets an email update telling them about the change) before transferring their subscribers over.

Hi Erin,
Thanks for confirming! I moved your subscribers over to http://www.noordinarynomad.com so you’re all set. Just let me know if I can do anything more to help. :)
