opening the dashboard on a published blog

  I did a test publish and sent to my eamil address….it arrived just fine but I can open the dashboard on this…..which means anyone can change the blog…why

  I don’t know what you mean. How many people have access to your email account and could locate the verification link in that email and click it? It’s up to you to make sure your security is not compromised. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/

  If you are referring to the fact that Admin [edit] links are visible to you and usable by you, when you are logged into the blog, then know that no one else can see them or use them.
