optimising pages for visual impairment

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi. I am designing a website and i want to bee able to optimise pages for visual impairment. This might be a repeat of the whole site available from a button in the home page or it might be more efficient to have a button that says Click for an enhanced view and then the text and background changes colour in order to make the pages more accessible for those with visual impairment.
any thoughts, advice, alternative or something that I have missed? this would be greatly received.
This is my first post, so i am curious to know the collective experience/wisdom of the community.
    Many thanks – 247psych
