Ordering of Posts
-
I have a news blog for the POW/MIA issue. http://www.standingwatch.wordpress.com
What I am trying to accomplish is to have the most recent post at the top of the page. In other words, I want to reverse the ordering of posts because updates are daily with daily news from the POW/MIA issue.
How would I accomplish this?
Thank you in advance for the help.

Most recent on top is exactly the way blogs work. All you have to do is make sure you’re writing POSTS, not PAGES, and they will come up in the order you want. Pages are static and sit outside the real blog structure.

Thank you for the answer. I have noticed that hitting the “publish” instead of “preview” orders it. I still have my very first post at the top and it won’t move. Don’t understand that one.
Again thanks for the quick response.

Well, they were all posted on the same day. You can get in the Edit screen and edit the times so that the most recent is posted most recently…and the Welcome is posted “first”. I don’t know why it would have mixed up the order; it’s most peculiar. If it continues to do that, contact staff because that’s not functioning properly.

Under settings > general, make sure that the offset from GMT/UTC is set correctly for your time zone.
