Other WP Contributors

I have a WP site set up and running. I know how to add other Authors/Contributors so they can make posts in the BLOG section.
What I would like to know is how do I give them access to only certain parts of the website?
I want them to have access to the Posts section. I have 2 other plugins that I would like them to have access to but nothing else on the site.
Just curious if that is possible or not.

Is it possible you created your site under a different login instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

We can’t help directly because we don’t host fcctwinsburg.org on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result, we can’t take a closer look at your site.
Instead, your host (GoDaddy) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (sometimes called “WordPress.org”), which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. Specifically, we use a different user management system (for enhanced security) that does not have an option for creating additional user roles.
With this in mind, we’re unfamiliar with how you would add that functionality, but I understand it is possible. I’m less clear on whether there is an off-the-shelf plugin solution or if it requires custom code.
The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/.
The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help recommend a plugin solution if one exists and may also be able to suggest code you can add to your source if not. Thanks!
