Others sharing my posts to twitter

  Can anyone help??
  When followers share my posts to their twitter feed the image never appears. Just the link. Does anyone know why please. I put the image within the post and as a feature image.

  Hi there, please provide a link to a post on your WPcom website that has been shared to twitter as well as a link to the tweet. That way we can take a look. Thanks.

  It was shared by another 2 people all just had link and no image.

  This always happens with my posts. What do I need to set on my account to allow images to appear when others share to twitter????

  Hello again,

  Running your post through the twitter card validator at https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator for that post I’m getting “ERROR: Fetching the page failed because it’s denied by robots.txt” and looking at your site’s robots.txt file it looks like you’re site is not set fully to Public.

  Please check your site’s current Privacy settings in your MySites > Settings > General and scroll down a bit to Privacy and see that your site is set to Public and that you are allowing search engines to index your site. https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/
