Over 100 followers disappeared overnight!

Followers have disappeared from my blog in a vast number – I went from over 120 to 20 in a matter of days – not sure why!

Were you previously using Facebook or Twitter via Publicize?
If so, those followers were included in your total, and the total will be refreshed when you publish a new post.

Thanks for your reply, but no, cant say that’s what I do – I hadnt done anything on the site for a couple of days so cant even take responsibility for the changes! Cheers

Ok, so you have never connected your blog to automatically share your posts on Facebook or Twitter?

Ok, I can’t see any record of your blog ever having more than 20 followers, so at this point I’d say that either Facebook and Twitter were connected at some point, or you may have this blog confused with another.

Well I don’t know what to do – I only have one blog, I have never joined twitter as I think it’s crazy, and the one time I tried to link to facebook it told me there was a technical problem. I guess I just have to start again don’t I!

If you’re successfully, and the 100 followers come back, then we know that the issue was what I mentioned earlier.
