    am i locked into wordpress when i transfer my domain name or can i move it anytime

    Hi there,

    A domain cannot be moved for 60 days after registration, the last transfer, or a contact information/ownership change. This is an ICANN regulation and is true no matter where your domain is registered.

    But apart from that you can transfer your domain at any time – also as per ICANN regulations no domain provider can prevent you from transferring an active domain you own.
