Owned Domain Name

I can’t figure out how to register the domain name that is an option w/ my $99 bundle so can I either get help or a refund before 48 hours is up?
Believe it or not, this name may be owned by the franchisor and there’s nothing I can do about that. I thought I owned it but I don’t. So, the best thing for me would be to cancel that particular name and come up with another. Can we just do that?
