ownership of domain

    I paid a web developer to design my page 6 months ago and it is still not live. They purchased the domain that I wanted with promise to have it up and running in 45 days. That never happened. What proof do I need that I have the right to the domain so I can do this myself?

    Sorry to hear that.

    I checked the domain and found that it’s not hosted by us at WordPress.com. The domain appears to be registered with GoDaddy and it has inmotionhosting nameservers (meaning the site is likely hosted by InMotion Hosting).

    Since neither the domain nor the site/hosting is with us, we aren’t able to help with this here. If you’re looking to gain access to the domain, please reach out to GoDaddy support as the domain is registered with them.
