Oxygen Theme problems with featured slider

I’m using Oxygen theme and have encountered two problems. One, sometimes I set a post ‘sticky’ and yet it does not appear on the front page featured slider. Second, I have a post that I made not sticky, and yet it still appears in the slider AND in the list of recent posts. How do I make slider feature work properly? I’m using photos with plenty of pixels, so that shouldn’t be a problem. Thanks!

Hi there,
I checked your slider, and I see four posts there:
- Bevis Marks Synagogue – London
- Ets Haim Library – Amsterdam
- Polonies Talmud Torah School – New York
- Chatham Square Cemetery – New York
Those are the four sticky posts on your blog, so from my end it looks like that slider is working as it should.
If you’re not seeing those four posts in the slider, you may need to refresh your browser or clear your browser’s cache. (It’s possible an old version of the page is saved in your browser, so you’re seeing that instead of the recent changes you made there.)
If you continue to have trouble with this, please send me a link to any posts that should be in the slider but aren’t there (or vice versa) and I’d be happy to take another look!

Does it just take time until that happens? In the past, it occurred right away.
