Page for downloading documents

Hello – I’m setting up a youtube channel and putting below my videos the link to my blog so that people can (hopefully) download the documents that I reference in the…only I’m not sure how to set up a page where I can put documents on for people to download. Please can you help?

Hi there,
To create a new page, go to My Site ->Site ->Pages ->Add New.
To upload a document and insert it into your page, you’d use the File block:
That should create a downloadable link for any document you add using that block.

If you’ll be publishing new pages with links every time you publish a new video on Youtube, consider using posts instead. That way people can subscribe to your site and get notifications each time there’s a new post.
If you also embed the actual Youtube videos in the post each time, that gives you another channel besides Youtube where people can subscribe to your content.
To embed Youtube videos in your posts or pages you’ll use the Youtube embed block.
