  Hi,
  I’m currently working on my wordpress.com blog which I need to do for school but I can’t help feeling like that there’s is an awfully large gap between the Site Identity Title and the Title of the homepage, please get back to me if you know how to fix this.

  Hi Eternity,

  Any such modification to the theme would need custom CSS. That’s available on plans Premium and above.

  You may try some other themes though. You can try them without activating by clicking on the three dots next to the theme’s name and choosing the option Try&Customize.

  

  This will allow you to see how the theme would look like with your content and how could you customize it.
