Page-level redirects from old site to wordpress.com
-
Hi –
I’ve just rebuilt my site on wordpress.com, and am wondering if you have a tool for specific page-level redirects (preferably 301’s), so that the old site’s URL’s can be pointed to the corresponding new page. (The Site Redirect in the Store didn’t seem like it would do this.) For example:
http://adameaston.com/commercial/index.htm (old site URL)
to
http://adameaston.com/category/commercials/ (new WP URL)Thanks very much.

Hi Keith,
It wouldn’t be possible to do page-level redirects on WordPress.com, only a Site Redirect.
I’m so sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

Thanks Grace, the quick response is appreciated.
Just to be clear: this wouldn’t be possible even with the Business or Enterprise packages?
Thanks –
Keith

Hi Keith,
You’d be able to do it with WordPress.com Enterprise using the Safe Redirect Manager Plugin from my understanding. I’d look into Enterprise:

I’d take a look at the list of plugins they offer here and see if it’s a good idea for you:
