'Page' or 'blog' or 'post' or…

Hi
Once a page has been created, is it possible to change what kind of content it is, quickly and easily?
I’ve created a number of pages now, links to some of which are showing on the home page, automatically, and others which aren’t. I can’t seem to able to determine what’s displaying and what isn’t.Hope this makes sense and someone can advise.
Cheers
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
See the Post vs. Page support page to learn the difference between these two content types. A “blog” ordinarily denotes a type of website in which posts are displayed in reverse chronological order on the front page. However, some people use the term “blog” to mean the same as “post.”Once a page has been created, is it possible to change what kind of content it is, quickly and easily?
Yes. See the Edit Pages Screen support page.

Your front page is presently set to display the posts page. The titles link to the single posts: “175,” “Mild Confusion is Good…,” etc. I don’t find links to any pages on the front page. For example, the slide-out sidebar displays various widgets, but no Pages Widget.
The Minnow theme evidently allows both a custom menu and widgets to be displayed in the slide-out sidebar. See the Minnow theme guide.

A custom menu may include links to pages, posts, portfolio projects, category pages, external URLs, and more. See the Custom Menus support page.
