Page order in navigation menu not changing

  Hello, I have changed the order of pages in the top navigation (re. menu structure) of my navigation and “saved menu”, however the change is not taking effect.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1. Do you have multiple custom menus? If so, at Menus > Manage Locations > Select Menu, select the menu you wish to display.
  2. At the bottom of the menu structure of your chosen menu, at “Theme Locations” check “Primary Navigation.”

  There are two approaches.

  Custom menu Troubleshooting – My pages are in the wrong order
  Check the sub-pages themselves to see if you have established a Parent page and child page “hierarchical structure” in the page attributes module. Remove if required.

  Also remove any “order” numbers you have assigned that may conflict with the order you are creating by dropping and dragging. Or simply change them so they are the same order as you establish in the menu. Establish consistency – problem solved.

  I have changed the order of pages in the top navigation (re. menu structure) of my navigation and “saved menu”, however the change is not taking effect.

  I should have asked this first. Does saving fail to modify the order in the menu structure itself — i.e. it reverts to the previous order — or only in the header navigation bar?

  Tried musicdoc1 suggestion, re: 1. Do you have multiple custom menus? If so, at Menus > Manage Locations > Select Menu, select the menu you wish to display. Then re-saved. That seemed to do the trick(?). Thank you both for your help. Much appreciated.
