Page templates not available

    Hi, my interface for building my site using the Promenade Theme doesn’t offer the page templates that are shown in the demo video. Can someone explain how I get these templates?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The theme I have paid for does not work properly. I checked the designer’s site and it says the theme is for wordpresss.org not wordpress.com. Is that why the widgets and templates are not available to me? Please can someone answer?

    Hi there,

    Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs (as you mentioned) running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

    On WordPress.com, you can select from a variety of themes to change your blog’s appearance. You can read more about customizing the appearance and theme of your blog on WordPress.com here:

    At this time it would be best to return the theme you purchased and choose a WordPress.com theme from above, or move your site to WordPress.org.
