Pages and blog posts

    I’ve got a page that I’ve called patterns which I want to put two of my blog posts onto (they each contain a pattern). I don’t want them to be blogs, on my blog page, I want them want to be on my page called patterns…. can I do this and how do I do it please? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m going quietly mad here. Thanks

    Hi,

    You can’t put posts on a static page. Category pages are what you want. See the Category Pages support page. The URL of the “Patterns” category page might look like this https://culturallyspeakingweb.wordpress.com/category/patterns/. Assign the category “patterns” to the posts which you would like to have appear in that category page.

    To include links to category pages in your navigation bar menu, you’ll have to create and activate a custom menu to replace the default pages menu, if you haven’t already done so. See the Custom Menus support page.
