Pages Disappeared

  I had about 6 pages just… disappear.
  I was trying to build a menu in the old editor (I think? I followed the help instructions directing me to Appearances>Menus) and when I decided it wasn’t working, I deleted the items and the menus. After I did that and went to continue working, everything disappeared.
  The sites that are not public are the ones that disappeared. I don’t know how to even get them back because there isn’t a revision history. Is there any way you can restore this? And direct me how to set up a menu so I don’t ever do this again? I just lost hours and hours of work.

  Unfortunately, this site is not published (and is intended to be a replacement for another site so I don’t want to make it public to avoid confusion while it’s in the works).
