  I am struggling to find it as an option on my home page

  Please provide an example of a page which isn’t showing on the homepage of https://cookwithjj.wordpress.com/ as you expect it to.

  Note that the content of the page set as the static front page, if any, will not display if you assign to it the Front Page Template.
