Thank you for responding. I have over 120 pages and I one time noticed that I accidentally put on the cover a link to one of the pages. I don’t know how I did it or how I got rid of it. I would like to put the link from a few pages and actually be aware how to do it.
What I meant by the beginning profile the first page I wrote (and others). My url is https://tziyonawrite.wordpress.com/
thanks -
Hi,
If you would like the first (earliest) post, or multiple early posts, to appear on the front page, you may do so by making them “sticky.” See the Sticky Posts section of the Post Visibility support page.

I should have said “appear on the top of the front page.”
Alternatively, you could use a static front page as an introduction to the site, and place your posts on another page. See the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page. The introductory page could be composed of the content of early posts.

I’m not sure that’s what I wanted. Before when my site was opened on the left is the name of my site and on the right is the page ‘about me’. Next to the ‘about me’ I had had another random page that I had written. I would like to know how to get that link of different pages. Do you know how to do that.
the sticky pages seems to be the next few pages of ‘un-chronological’ order. -

You may have deleted that page. You’re talking about links in your menu. Unless you have a custom menu activated, you may add another link beside the “About Me” link by simply creating and publishing another page. See the Create a New Page section of the Pages support page.

Pages can’t be made sticky, only posts. But though you referred to pages I thought you meant posts. Any post, new or old, may be assigned as a sticky post.

Btw, your “About” page has evidently been trashed, as evident by its URL” https://tziyonawrite.wordpress.com/about__trashed/.
Also, and I should have noticed this before, the presence of the “About Me” link in the menu, despite the fact that the page it links to is in trash, indicates that you have a custom menu activated. So creating a page will not be enough to add a link to it to the menu, unless you deactivate the custom menu. If the custom menu remains activated, then you’ll have to add a link to a new page to the menu in order to have it displayed in the menu. In other words, with a custom menu each item must be added to the menu manually and individually. With a default pages menu, just publishing a page adds it to the menu.
