Pages will not show up in sub navigation

I have tried adding new pages to the navigation menu as sub-pages (dropdown menus) but they are not appearing on the site. I have tried adding both pages and custom links and neither one are appearing on my live site.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there!

I can see quite a few sub-menus on your site https://carrskiddos.wordpress.com/. Have you figured it all out? If now, which pages exactly are you trying to add, and what happens when you try?
Any screenshot would also be helpful. You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/) and paste the link into your reply.

Thanks for your reply. I was able to get most of my pages to add, but when I tried to add a new one, it was not showing up. I was trying to add a page called “Instructional Videos” and a customized link under the “Resources” tab. I am able to add them in the customization of menus, but they are not showing up on the live site.
Here’s the image (thanks for the tip; I’ve never used snipboard before):

  • Hi, I think I see the issue: if you use the Site Editor to edit the header, it won’t automatically pick up changes to your classic menu (made through Customize).

    So try this:

    1. Go to Appearance → Site Editor and edit the Navigation block.

    2. You should have an option to select a new menu. Under Classic Menus, choose Main with Subpages. Choose that. Then save your changes.

If you want to make more changes to the menu on this site, be sure to do it through the Site Editor rather than through Customize or the Menus link. Or, make the changes then replace the navigation menu in the site editor like you did this time.

    Cheers!
