pagination 404 with custom post types

  Hello,

  I am very new to Worpdress, I am asked to modify a web site, if I go to the webiste/sopmepage and have pagination, it is working, webiste/sopmepage/page/2 works just fine but when there is an additional paramter webiste/somepage/paramterwhichequalspostype and have pagination, going to page 2 takes me to :

  webiste/somepage/paramterwhichequalspostype/page/2 and I get a 404 error

  How can I fix this

  Can you please give me the URL of the actual site you’re working on? It’s impossible to help if we can’t see exactly what is going on.

  Note that we’ll only be able to help you if this is on a WordPress.com site. I see two of those in your account, https://hunchakparty.wordpress.com/ and https://christiansocialistdemocrat.wordpress.com/, and neither of those are active.
