Paragraphs not working

    Paragraphs are not showing up. I’ve read the forum that stated to install the plug in Code Snippets and add a new snippet with the code
    // Remove WordPress Autoformatting
    remove_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘wpautop’ );
    remove_filter( ‘the_excerpt’, ‘wpautop’ );

    I’ve also tried using the classic view and nothing is working. I’ve never used wordpress before and I just can’t figure it out.

    I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out without success. I hope you can help.

    Hi Cindy, could you send a link to the site you’re having trouble with? The one you’ve listed wouldn’t allow a plugin, so I’m not sure it’s the right one.

    Also, please note these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com, vs using the free WordPress software with another host. If you’re not sure about your site, send a link and we can point you in the right direction.
