Parent Page will not show child pages

    I have 2 pages that are published and set to public. They are set up to go under a parent page. The parent page shows fine. But the child pages do not show up when you hover over the parent page tab. I even detached the 2 child pages, deleted the old parent page, remade the parent page, and re-attached the 2 child pages. But still no show! The child pages can be found by typing in the search bar, proof they are there!

    I have done this several times before with no trouble. This is the first time I have experienced glitches with WordPress!
