Parked domain

  Hi, I closed my account a while ago and now it says my domain is parked. I can’t access my account because if I try to log in it says user error or something, but I can’t start new account either with the email address I used because it says User Active. Why is my URL parked and how can I get it back? My account has been closed for months.

  Hi, I can’t log into the account I registered the domain with because it’s been cancelled, and as I said, I can’t start a new account with the same email address either.

  Hi there,

  Are you getting an error when you try? The data from the old account has already been completely deleted from our system, including the email address, so you should be able to use that address for a new account now, or even change this account’s email to that address.

  Regardless, though, we can only restore that domain at this point if the request comes from the email address provided as the Admin contact for the domain in the Whois data. As the WordPress.com account has already been deleted completely, we no longer know what email address was associated with that account – that data no longer exists on our system.

  So do you still have access to the email address you provided as the admin contact for the domain?

  And do you again want to use the domain here on WordPress.com, or do you want to transfer it somewhere else?

  Yeah I get an error message when I try to sign in.
  The email address was (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  I would like to transfer the domain but I’m not sure where yet. I just want it to not be parked.
