parked domain

Hi, I cancelled my domain without understanding that this would park it and prevent me from using it on a different site. It has been paid for until next year, I’d like to able to use it to point to a new website.
Site: https://juliancrocamo.wordpress.com.
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: Yes -
Hi there!
I’ve restored the domain for you. For future reference, please never cancel a domain that you wish to keep using. Due to how domain registrations work, you can’t cancel a domain and immediately register it elsewhere. Domains go through a complicated and lengthy process after it’s canceled or expired and there’s a high risk of you losing the domain in the process.
If you’d like to transfer the domain to another registrar, you can follow the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
You can also keep the domain registered on WordPress.com and point it to another host. To do this, please get the nameservers from your new host and follow these instructions to change the nameservers of your domain.
Within 72 hours of adding custom nameservers to your domain, it will start loading your external site.
Feel free to let us know if there’s anything else you need and we’ll be happy to help.

Hi again,
Sorry, it looks like I didn’t include enough information in my initial post, I thought that it would be automatically included due to the submission form.
The domain that I wanted to get back is juliancrocamo.com, which looks like it’s still parked. I imagine the one that you restored was the juliancrocamo.wordpress.com one. Sorry for not being clearer. Hopefully you’re still able to help. -
It looks like you were able to recover juliancrocamo.com
Are you still having trouble with this?
