Parked domain

    I made a mistake of getting my desired domain on a free subscription instead of getting it free for 1 year together with a Personal plan. I tried to correct this and now the domain is parked and i couldn’t get it. Could you please help me get my domain back? Apologies for the trouble.

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi, since a refund for that domain has been issued, and you want to take advantage of the free offering, you need to purchase one of our plans.

    Once you’ve purchased a plan, we’ll be able to restore your domain.

    I already purchased a plan for my site. I still could not select my desired domain, though.
    Anyway, I hope that I can still retrieve my domain. Thank you for the help!

    Hi jstat,

    Many thanks again for the help! I see that the domain is finally restored.
    On the payments tab, I see that both payments for the Domain name (18EUR) and the WordPress.com Personal Plan (48EUR) are there and I still have the option to claim my free domain. Will this still be fixed so I get my domain name for free for 1 year as per the offering (in other words, I still get the 18EUR refunded)?

    Anyway, I greatly appreciate all your help in fixing this issue!

    If you check your Billing History page (https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing) you’ll see the refund receipt for the domain registration. So, you have only been billed for the plan and you got the domain for free for the first year.
