Passing a site from Joomla to wp

    Hey friends, I need help. I’m helping a client to transfer his Joomla site to WP, now what is the procedure to do this without harming the website of my client?
    Basically, I would like to keep his original domain, but manage his website in WP, and when I’m ready, I’ll exchange them. But the original site must be accessible while I’m fixing a copy of it with WP. Hope I’m coherent with my request. Thank you so much.

    Hi –

    The first thing to clarify is if you’re trying to move the site to our managed hosting environment at WordPress.com? Or the open source WordPress.org software? These are 2 different things – and so the instructions will vary.
