  I have just reset my password and I can log in to WordPress using my new password, but when I go to my website to make alterations on http://istana.uk/wp-admin it doesn’t recognise my password. I tried to get a new password on that link and it said an email would be sent to my address, but none came.

  Hi there, istana.uk is self-hosted. The password reset you did was for your WordPress.com account and it is not connected to your self-hosted site.

  Log into http://istana.uk/wp-admin with the password and email or username you always have used to get into that site.
