password access

  Hello :-)
  Does anyone know if there is an option to add a password for website access. So only selected people can view it?
  Also maybe an option that has a landing page that everyone can see but the rest is password protected?

  Hi there,

  It’s possible to password protect individual posts and pages on a WordPress.com site:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-visibility/

  But what you’re describing sounds more like a membership site, where each member has a unique login, and some content is accessible only to members.

  To make a site like that you need to use a membership plugin, like WooCommerce Memberships, and that requires our Business Plan.

  There is a workaround, though if upgrading to Business is not an option for you:
