Password not working

  My password is not working. It tells me it is incorrect. I never changed it. When I try to change it and enter my login credentials, the Captcha fails, after it says I was successful. What is going on?

  What is the URL of the site with the problem?

  That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, hosted with GoDaddy, which we really can’t help with here.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
