  I’ve been trying to recover an account I haven’t used for ages. I can’t remember the domain name, but I do have an email address. I’ve been trying to change it with no much luck

  If you have access to the email address for the WordPress.com user account that owns the site you wish to access, you should be able to use the password recovery tool to log in:
