Password reset email

    Hi, I received a password reset email I believe in error. I did reset my password just in case but now I’m concerned. Any advise? Thanks.

    Hi there,

    I can see we sent a password reset email for your account around 6 hours ago. That means someone entered either your username or your email address in our lost password form, but we have no way of knowing who did that if it wasn’t you.

    The only way someone would be able to get into your account that way is if they also had access to your email account, so to be on the safe side, please update your email password, and also consider adding two-factor authentication to both your email and WordPress.com accounts as an extra layer of security.
