Password resetting

  I’m trying to connect to a friend’s website as an administrator and the link for password resetting wont come through

  Which site are you trying to join? Please share the URL.

  Make sure that you are looking at the email from the account at https://wordpress.com/me/account/

  It could take a bit for it to come through. Check the promotions, social, spam, and any other folders. You can also search the email client for WordPress.com notifications.

  http://ryancallahan.georgetown.domains/599Project1 is the site. Im in the site as an administrator but I never received a “set your password” email for this website, as I have received those in the past when being added as an admin. Any ideas on how to solve this?

  I also requested the password change so waiting on that as well. I just am not sure if the password was ever set up. in that case, how do I set it up without receiving the email to do so?

  Thanks for the site URL. It actually doesn’t use our managed hosting environment from WordPress.com. Instead, it’s set up on the open source WordPress.org software. Help for that comes from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
