Password Rest email link takes me back to login page

Hi,
I am locked out of my blog dashboard (www.lsub.wordpress.com) because I forgot the password. When I do the password reset I get an email with a link to reset my password. However, this link just takes me back to the login site. It is a vicious circle. Please someone help!!!

Maybe I am misunderstanding something, but I do not see how this is related to my problem. The password reset link wordpress sends to my email takes me back to the login page, not to a password reset page…

I should also add that I had to create this account just to ask this question. This is not the account I am having problems with. The account in question is http://www.lsub.wordpress.com

I just tested the password reset process with a separate account and I was able to complete the process without any trouble. The form to reset the password does look similar to the regular log in form. Just to make sure, check to see if it’s asking you for a new password. Also, there are two links in the email—make sure you are using the one at the bottom which is a longer address with a code in it.

I am clicking on the link at the bottom of the email, the longer one. When I click on it it takes me back to the login page. There is no option to enter a new password. The only two forms are: “Username or email” and “Password”

This is so frustrating. I have emailed support@wordpress.com but have not gotten a response. I have searched all over for people that have had this problem but cannot find anything. All I need is for someone working at wordpress.com to manually send me either a temp password, or to manually reset my password. I desperately need access to this blog.

I found the email and replied with one more troubleshooting step. I do think the link should be working.
If anyone else with a similar problem sees this thread in the future, please also try to copy and paste the link without the < and > at the ends of it and paste it into a browser directly to see if that helps. It’s possible the link is getting mixed up by an email client or filter.

Hi! I am stuck! I forgot my most recent password. I have several blogs for my email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff),) and the update links keep specifying another username. I do not want retirednancy or nononancy or Joyeaux1, which are usernames for the wrong blogs; I am trying to access the blog named thetimeiscome with the username thewalrusmused and email (email visible only to moderators and staff) .
URL: http://rrretired.com. TheTimeIsCome is the only thing in the URL.I knew what to do when I was part of WordPress.org, but now I’m out of the protective sphere and am hosting on Godaddy. Can somebody help me get back into my blog? Thanks!
