Passworded pages on blog
-
I have some pages that should be password protected on my blog, but when I go to the website (not as an administrator) they are not, and they don’t show the content that should be there. I’ve checked the page, and the password I’ve put on the page. It seems to be there as it should be, but still having trouble.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you give me the URL of page that should be password protected, but is not? Having an example to work from will be a big help.

Go to stpeterslutheransimcoe.org and click on the Official Documents link. Most of the pages there should be passworded.
Thanks!

Now, when I go on the website logged out, it says at the top of the passworded page that it is passworded, then it shows all the links on the page. The links are the reason the page is passworded.

Can you show me a screenshot of what you are seeing when you are logged out?
Here are some screenshot instructions if you are not familiar with the process:
I find http://snag.gy/ to be very useful for sharing screenshots. You can also upload the screenshot to your site’s media library. I will be able to see it there.

I have “snipped” the window to the site’s media library. If you need me to do it differently, write back.
Thanks for the link about making a screen shot. I didn’t know how to do it before.

I am seeing http://stpeterslutheransimcoe.org/official-documents/council-minutes/ as being password protected.
I think what has happened is that you have entered a password in the past and there is a cookie in your browser that recorded that fact. Which lets you see the page even if you are not logged into your account.
You could try clearing your cookies, using a browser that you do not typically use, or accessing the site from another computer that you’ve not logged in from before.
