  Yes, you’ll be charged if you upgrade with one of those “Plans.”

  Will I be charged right away if I upgrade my domain now?

  Upgrading domain, I mean getting custom domains needs an Upgraded Plan.
  Each plan comes with a free domain credit which can either used to get a custom domain for free or you can map a domain you already own for free.
  All plans are charged on yearly basis.
