  Hi, I have recently been charged $94 for the domain for my blog. However , I am on the free plan with the included domain ( ending in WordPress.com) so I am very unsure as the why I was charged. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi there,

  The account you’re using to post here has never been charged for anything on WordPress.com. We don’t even have a credit card on file for you which we could have charged.

  We don’t sell any upgrade that costs $94, either US, Australian or Canadian $, so this doesn’t sound like a WordPress.com charge. Any charge from us would clearly state “WORDPRESS”, followed by a unique code on your credit card statement. If you’re not seeing anything like that, the charge wasn’t from us.

  If you do see that, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. You can also use the Contact Us link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.

  Please do not post any information from your credit card statement descriptor here in the public forums.
