  I want the year free option, but when I get to check out it show’s the yearly subscription amount.

  Please read our plans carefully and you’ll see written in bold “Free Domain for One Year” meaning when you buy a plan on a yearly base, you get the domain free for the first year. But of course you still have to pay for the plan.
