Payment issues through a Credit card for a new domain

    Hi,

    I want to register a new domain and direct it to my blog in wordpress (for 18USD). But when I complete all the details of the credit card and press the button to process, I get this error “This transaction cannot be processed. Please use a valid country on the billing address”

    But I doublecheck and the country field is entered. I tried twice to do the Transaction, but no success. Please help me to identify the issue..

    Unfortunately, Sri Lanka is not currently supported for the type of credit card transactions that we do through PayPal as our payment processor. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

    You may want to try an alternative route, by attaching a credit card to your PayPal account, and making the payment directly through PayPal, instead of your credit card. Let us know if this works.

    If this doesn’t work and you purchase your domain through another provider, please let us know and we can arrange to have domain mapping set up so your domain can be pointed to your WordPress.com site.
