Payment on credit card

  Hello. I have never used wordpress premium, and haven’t actually used WordPress for several years. I have just been charged $99 on my credit card. Can you explain the charge, please? Thanks

  Hi there,

  The account you’re using to post here has never bought anything from us, and we don’t have a credit card on file for you which we could have charged. So if you’ve been charged it’s for a site in a completely different account.

  Do you own any other WordPress.com accounts or sites?

  If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for it at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. You can also use the Contact Us link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.
