payment to godaddy?

    i payed godaddy for 10 years what will happen if i transfer the domain to wordpress

    Hi there,

    Normally upon transfer the domain will renew for another year, but a domain cannot be registered for more than 10 years at a time, so instead the domain will just transfer to us and stay at it’s current expiration date.

    You won’t lose any of the time on the domain you’ve already paid for at GoDaddy, but it will not be renewed again with us right away.
